Paul Kluge
Paul was born in Essen, Germany, in 2000. He received his BSc degree in Electrical Engineering from TU Delft in 2021. After which he started a full-time student team year at Delft Hyperloop, working on the electric motor design. Having completed the student team, he went on to start the MSc in Electrical Engineering at TU Delft, where he focused on power electronics in his first year and decided to switch to Microelectronics in his second year, with a focus on mixed-signal and RF electronics. Moreover, he participated in an exchange programme and internship at CERN in 2024-2025.
In his free time, he likes to do many types of sports, discover and play new music and can often be found drinking preferably good coffee while catching up with friends and colleagues.
For his research, he is interested in RF electronics and photonics, with a focus on improving efficiency at mmWave frequencies. In September 2025 he joined ELCA where he is working on his MSc thesis with NXP Semiconductors, in collaboration with TU Delft, on a high frequency transmitter.
